The Baltimore Urban Debate League (BUDL, pronounced "boodle"), is an American, non profit, urban debate league that aims to educate and mentor inner city middle school and high school students in the Baltimore, Maryland area. The league was started in 1999 by a grant from the Fund for Educational Excellence in collaboration with George Soros' Open Society Institute.
